Demonstration site

For our regular customers, partners, and those who use our equipment, we would like to inform you about the opportunity to undergo training in operating methods for instruments and equipment at our demonstration site.

 

 

The demonstration site is a land area, deep inside which there are real cables and wires with artificially created damage.

This simulation of real-world cable faults allows us to clearly demonstrate the work of our laboratories and equipment for identifying and locating faults in cable lines.

Directly at the demonstration site you will be able to acquire skills in working with:

  1. Cable mobile laboratories.
  2. High-voltage stands - SVP and SVPA

    3. Oscillographic reflectometer «ISKRA»:

  • operation in low-voltage mode to determine distances to fault locations (short circuit, open circuit);
  • operation in high-voltage modes - «BURN»/«Acoustic Shock Wave Generator»/«TEST» as part of a laboratory or high-voltage testing stand for determining distances to damaged areas.

    4.  Receiver «P-806»:

  • determining the cable route using the induction method (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • determination of the depth (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • determination of the location of a short circuit (SC) between the wires in a cable using the induction method (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • Finding leaks in core insulation using the potential method (damage to the insulation of cables without metal armor) (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • Locating the location of damage (spark breakdown) of a cable using the electroacoustic method (in conjunction with a generator «Acoustic Shock Wave Generator» as part of the laboratory).

     5. Receiver «P-2016»:

  • determining the cable route using the induction method (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • determination of the depth (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • determination of the location of a short circuit (SC) between the wires in a cable using the induction method (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • Finding leaks in core insulation using the potential method (damage to the insulation of cables without metal armor) (in conjunction with a generator «GZCH-2500»);
  • Locating the location of damage (spark breakdown) of a cable using the electroacoustic method (in conjunction with a generator «Acoustic Shock Wave Generator» as part of the laboratory).
  • Locating the location of a cable fault (Dead Single-Phase Short-Circuit (DSFS) of the cable core to the sheath) using the electroacoustic method (in conjunction with the GAUV-5 generator as part of the «KAEL-5» laboratory).

Besides training at the demonstration site, it is also possible to practice working with measurements of power transformer parameters using a device «K540-3» (as part of the «ETL-35» or «ETL-35K» laboratories or automated device «PBNI-3») and a model of a three-phase power transformer.

 

    6. Power transformer parameter meter «К540-3»:

  • Measurement of current and no-load losses at low and nominal excitation voltages of transformers;
  • Measurement of short-circuit current and losses;
  • Measuring the transformation ratio;
  • Determination of the connection group of windings of three-phase transformers and the polarity of the terminals of single-phase transformers;
  • Measuring the resistance of transformer windings to direct current.

The scope of training depends on the stated wishes and preparedness of the customer.
